Illinois American Saddlebred Pleasure Horse Assn. Inc., is introducing a new format for their horse shows this year. All three shows will be three days, with a Friday evening performance, Saturday morning, afternoon and evening, and Sunday morning and afternoon performances. The 2013 show dates are April 12-14, July 12-14 and November 1-3.
Classes include the full array of Pleasure and Country Pleasure classes and now offer Amateur and Open Five-Gaited, Three-Gaited and Park, plus Park Pleasure, Fine Harness, Pony, Equitation, UPHA, Academy and Jackpot classes.
Choose “A” or “B” Season Trophy Points–Exhibitors declare in advance whether their IASPHA show wins receive “A” circuit or “B” circuit season trophy points on the IASPHA, MAHSA, IHPBEA and ASAW high point systems.
All IASPHA shows will be held at Fields & Fences Equestrian Center in Gurnee, Illinois, which boasts an Indoor 100’ x 300’ show arena, with all stabling and arenas under one roof. It is just minutes from the toll way, numerous hotels, restaurants and family attractions such as Great America Amusement Park, Gurnee Mills Shopping Mall, Marcus Cinema and Key Lime Cove Resort/Indoor Water Park.
