AMHECT will be awarding a minimum of $5,000 for undergraduate Academic Scholarship(s) and/or Professional Development in memory of Alex Mooney via the Alex Mooney Memorial Scholarship.

The scholarship application is open to:

students entering or currently enrolled in accredited colleges, universities, trade or technical schools who are or have previously been involved in the Morgan horse

AND

professionals and support personnel desiring to further their abilities in the areas of Cystic Fibrosis research, patient care and family support. 

Applications are now being accepted. The deadline for applications is Sunday, June 30th by Midnight (12 a.m.) Eastern.
